Not all Inspectors are the same

Most home inspectors are perfectly content to do an "industry standards" inspection rather than do the extra  effort to provide an advanced standards inspection. The difference? An "industry standard"  inspection is do the bare minimum, only do a representative sampling of systems rather than check as much as possible.

"Industry Standard" inspectors may not have the professional training to effectively do things like a proper infrared scan, or find things like bootleg grounded outlets. They haven't invested in the proper tools to determine if each HVAC register has proper airflow or if the furnace is leaking carbon monoxide. Most professional inspectors have the proper tools to identify potential issues.

Our inspectors have the proper training and tools to do sewer scope, infrared thermography, gas and carbon monoxide leak detection as well as many other systems. We even have wood destroying organism (WDO) certified inspectors on staff.   We also have digital levels to determine if you have serious foundation issues, can do smoke tests of waste pipe systems for leaks, and Leakalyzer testing for checking swimming pools for leaks and many other tools to provide a true inspection of your home.

Too many home inspectors (and Realtors) think that a home inspection is a commodity, and treat is as such. The OG, (old guys) feel that this is a profession, not an industry.
